Clausura (Closing): 5:30 pm (5:00 pm if at KS location) on Sunday at the site of the Cursillo Weekend.

NOTE:  The weekends are jointly held with our sister movement of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas (KCKS).  


Interested in Attending?

The three day weekend is the start of the Cursillo journey.  Those interested in attending must be a stable, adult-aged Catholic who can validly receive the Sacraments. It is suggested that recent converts should wait 2 years before attending.  The weekend starts on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm (6:00 pm if held at KS location) and concludes Sunday evening by 8:00 pm.  Those attending the weekend must be able to attend the entire weekend and will stay at the facility.  A free will donation is taken up on Sunday to cover the costs of the weekend.  Scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance. Money is NEVER to be a reason for someone to not attend Cursillo.  Click here to complete the Interest Form and someone will contact you soon.

Have a Candidate?

Prior to submitting a candidate for a weekend, read and prayfully consider the information on the Sponsor a Candidate page.  If you have a potential candidate and he/she meets the qualifications for attending, complete the Candidate Application and submit it per instructions on the form.  Deadline for candidate application is 2 weeks prior to the start of the Cursillo weekend.   If you have any questions about the application or sponsoring process, click to contact the Precursillo Chairperson.

Interested in Helping?

Cursillistas are encouraged to help with the weekends in a variety of ways.  Conference Room, Kitchen, and Palanca Chapel are ways to be directly involved.  If you can't assist during the whole weekend, please consider how you might help with set-up, clean-up, financially, and most importantly through Prayer and Palanca.
